The Hospital has a well networked self registration kiosk for new patients who wish to register themselves. The data from the kiosk directly gets into our main database. This facility enables our patients save time in writing registration forms. Registration can also be done through our website online.
Out patient department
The outpatient department, is attended by a minimum of 80,000 patients each year. The outpatient service includes: general ophthalmic clinics and speciality clinics (cornea, glaucoma, vitreo-retina, oculoplasty, diabetic eye clinic, squint, orbital and paediatric ophthalmology). The out patient department is ergonomically designed with eight air conditioned and fully equipped consultation rooms and individual optometry and contact lens clinics. Nethradhama provides patient friendly services through a single window operating system. This provides a patient with required information, booking appointments, registration, billing etc., so that a patient need not move from one counter to another for various processes. We have an unique concept of time motion study which monitors turn around time per consultation.
Patient waiting area
A well-lit & spacious atrium welcomes the patients to the reception & registration desk. The patient waiting area with comfortable seating is located outside the respective consultation suites. We do our best to ensure that the patients are seen as soon as possible and according to the order of appointments. A degree of priority is given to patients whose clinical needs are highest. Patients awaiting their turn have the advantage of browsing through brochures, latest magazines apart from news papers.
Aquarium
Today, environments designed for healing are the goal of many health care providers. Nethradhama has a visually pleasing marine aquarium as a focal point in the lobby. A post cataract surgery patient says, "Dr. Sri Ganesh, I can distinguish the pleasant colours and hues of the fishes in the aquarium very clearly after my surgery". Touch Screen Information Kiosk
Nethradhama is proud to have 3D Eye Office, animated software which explains various topics about the eyes in a user friendly manner. From videos of surgeries to post operative care the kiosk provides electronic information. One need not stand at the enquiry queue at the hospital, as the information provided in the kiosk is comprehensive. The information kiosks are made available to patients in all our floors and lounges.

Nethradhama has set up the latest model of television sets at all floors of the hospital at strategic locations for patients and their attenders to be in constant touch with the world outside while they await their turn. Live transmission of appointment status
Yet another value added service, the hospital has huge monitors to relay the patient appointment status live while they await their turn. This facility shows patients where they are and when will their turn came up.

Nethradhama has the finest, airconditioned conference facility with seating for 50 persons, which is ideal for seminars, conferences, CME, training sessions and other gatherings. We also have a satellite communication link for telemedicine facility, which is very beneficial for our DNB students.
