Slit Lamp Evaluation
The Slit lamp enables a more accurate observation of the cornea, revealing stages of pathology that are visible grossly. Before excising the cornea, the eye ball is superficially evaluated under the Slit lamp for grading:
Excellent
Very good
Good
Fair
Not suitable for surgery
