Survey
Camp organisers conducts survey to decide which problems and area merit attention and would refer those with the problems for community screening program. Data on cataract blindness and other blinding problems are available from hospital records. A rough indication of the community interests can be obtained by talking to the local formal and non-formal community leaders and the peripheral health workers
 
Community Screening Program (CSP)
Shraddha Eye Care Trust conducts community screening programs twice a week in the areas where survey has been completed. The optometrists at the screening site would do ocular examination. Those in need of surgery or further management would be referred to the base hospital.
 
Base Hospital
Those referred would be examined at the base hospital by an ophthalmologist and the necessary treatment/ surgical management would be provided.
 
Public Awareness Campaign
IEC Campaigns to create awareness in the public regarding the eye disorders and their prevention would be conducted. Posters, banners, pamphlets, and personal communication are a few of the methods for awareness.
