Dr Suman Shree R. received her basic medical education in Bangalore, Karnataka. She served as Senior House Officer at Dept.of Anaesthesiology, St.Martha's Hospital, Bangalore and completed her postgraduate training in anesthesiology at Command Hospital Air Force, Bangalore University. She completed her DNB in 1995. She also worked as a Lecturer at Dept.of Anesthetics & Pain Relief, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology. She did her Senior Residency in the Dept. of Neuro-anesthesiology, National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore for 3years.
She has been heading the department of Anaesthesiology at Nethradhama Superspeciality Eye Hospital from 1998. She has also done her Post graduation in Hospital and Healthcare Management and Medico Legal Systems from Symbiosis Centre for Healthcare, Pune in 2009.
