The candidates must have obtained a 50% marks taken together in English, Physics, Chemistry, biology /mathematics in the higher secondary examination that is equivalent to 10+2. Candidates who have completed their 2/3 years diploma in optometry can take admission for BSc.optometry
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on 10+2 marks and performance in the personal Interview Session on first come first served basis.

ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The course commences on 1st OCT of every year. It is a full-time course with theory, practical and clinical sessions.
EVALUATION
At the end of each academic year, the students will be evaluated in both Theory and practical. Each component will have a term-end and internal assessment. Equal weightage will be for internal assessment and 100% weightage will be for term-end examinations both in theory and practical. A student has to secure a minimum of 50% marks separately in internal assessment and term-end of each course .At the end of the fourth Year; the students will be awarded B.Sc degree In Optometry after successful completion of course requirements
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
For both theory and practical medium of instruction will be in English.

PROGRAMME FEES
Rupees 40000 per year for 3 years.
At the time of admission, an additional amount of Rupees 10,000/- will be taken as security deposit. This amount will be refunded at the end of course.
